Our mission

The Global Share Foundation is a privately funded, not-for-profit organization. Our mission is to work alongside people suffering from diseases and to discover opportunities so they can have access to the foods and medical attention they need while living a dignified and independent lifestyle.

In particular, we create training programs to help a variety group of people including underprivileged children, young adults and families around the globe to learn and hone skill sets needed to be self-employed or live with financial stability. We strive to accomplish this mission through recognizing, respecting, and providing for the uniqueness of each individual.

Our vision

Our short-term goal is to focus on the immediate needs at hands: providing foods and essential needs for the local communities in the rural areas and running programs to help villagers build skill sets needed in securing jobs or making a living.

In the long run, we strive to reach out to a wider audience for raising awareness and hope to increase our donor base so we can better help out communities in need of resources.

Finally we embrace diversity and inclusion, and we’d love to share ideas and appreciate any networking opportunities to make our global community a better place!

Meghan Lee

Founder of Global Share Foundation & Share Hub Foundation

I am a true believer in “there is a first time for everything”, and I love going on adventures and exploring new experiences. This passion led to my first trip to Ghana, Africa in 2019. The people that I’ve met, the culture that I had humbly experienced and the memories from the trip are treasures that I will cherish forever. This once-in-a-lifetime experience led to my first fundraising campaign in 2020, and now I’m starting a foundation this year!

There are a lot of people in need of different types of help in today’s world and I believe we could do so much more beyond simply donating to large non-profit organizations. I believe real changes start here by being out there and seeing with my own eyes to find out exactly what we could do to help.

I invite you to join me on this journey and we can implement small changes, one at a time, and they will lead to a bigger impact on individual’s lives.

Kate Zelisko

I am a travel nurse with over 6 years of nursing experience in the hospital setting. Growing up in a first world country, I considered myself blessed to have access to good education and healthcare. After my trips to impoverished parts of the world, I wanted to dedicate some time to helping others to obtain those resources.

I joined this team to offer my medical knowledge and clinical expertise to help establish clinics in regions where the population has inadequate access to healthcare. With my passion for world travel and charity work, I am excited to be part of this foundation to help those in need all over the world.

My goal for the NGO is to play a vital role to ensure its vision comes to fruition.

I would like to be a part of this organization because I believe it has the right ecosystem to help me further my life-long dream of making a difference in the lives of people.

I would like people to join and partner with our organization by leveraging effective marketing tools, such as word-of-mouth advertising and social media as a way of propagating the message of what the NGO represents.
